After pondering – extensively – on how to share this important and so-close-to-my-heart facet of thriving with RA, I felt it would be best to first share my fitness journey with you .. Here goes.
I’ve always had a passion for movement .. Whether it was dancing in my parents’ front yard (yes, by myself; I’m an only child – give me a break) .. To participating in cheer, dance, volleyball and softball. My high school freshman year in basketball doesn’t really count – I am dreadful at basketball. I will never play H-O-R-S-E with you, so don’t even ask. College was a bit different – I went on a bit of a hiatus from body movement and made friends with the red solo cup .. If you get my drift. Ah, yes, college.
