It’s Never Too Late:
The rest of your life begins right now, in this very moment. What do you want it to look like?
It’s never too late… To live a life that makes your heart proud. To live the life of your dreams. To make today great. To start over. To be who you are capable of being. To shoot for the moon… What are you waiting for? This ship hasn’t sailed yet and it’s yours to build.
Nothing in your life is preventing you from living your most beautiful, authentic existence, except you. What are you going to do to change that? Because it’s *your* choice: you can choose to change or you can choose to remain the same.
Yes, you’ve been through hell and back, but sacrificing a life you love just because the journey has been difficult defeats the purpose of the challenges you’ve faced. Allow them to shape your reality, not rob it.
Stop setting limitations on your life. Stop setting restrictions on your life. Stop setting barriers on your joy. Stop conforming and start doing. Move tomorrow to today.
Live passionately. Live joyously. Love enthusiastically. Feel things you’ve never felt before; do things you’ve never done before. Live as fully as you can imagine.
Embrace this crazy beautiful life. You only get one.
Conquer Fear:
Fear sparks paralysis and it strips our peace. It weakens our resolve and shifts our focus. Running from fear is a distraction from our purpose and it’s a race we’ll never win.
In many instances, the fear of pain is far worse than the pain itself. Often, what we’re afraid of dealing with is precisely what will set us free.
We must take steps forward, even when we’re afraid. Our fear doesn’t get to define us or decide our future.
Acknowledge the fear you feel, understand it, but don’t let it take up space in your soul. Take a chance, take a leap of faith and trust that when you jump over your fears, you’ll be taught to fly. Everything you want is on the other side of your fear.
Imagine a life free of fear… One where you’re free to realize your wildest dreams, live in the realm of *anything’s possible* and conquer the unconquerable.
Set yourself free from fear today.
Redefine Failure:
With every failure, you are one step closer to success. With every “no,” you have moved nearer to the long-awaited “yes.” With every setback, you take a step forward toward a break through.
Often, the greatest insights and most profound nuggets of wisdom stem from failure. Yet, there are few takeaways in a string of successes.
By its very nature, the optic of success rarely shares the failures it required. Defeats are regularly swept under the rug with the implication that they somehow detract from the win.
What if you were to reframe failure? What if you were to redefine it? What if you thought of failure as a pathway to progress to what you desire most? Every success has a line of failures behind it and every failure has a line straight to success.
Learn from your missteps and put them to work for you. Don’t make the same mistake twice and never give up. Pick yourself up and choose to make tomorrow better. You have the ability and the choice is yours.
Redefine failure so that it is a stepping stone to the success you envision and act every day to bring yourself closer to your goals.
Only Survivors:
There are no victims here, only survivors. You are stronger than you could ever imagine and you have control over your thoughts and your life.
Believing that you’re a victim is a trap. Buying into the notion that you have no control over your mindset or the direction of your life is a dangerous perspective that prevents growth and stifles success. You have far more power and influence than you may initially believe.
Refuse to be victimized by your circumstances and reject the lie that you are a helpless victim. Never surrender your dreams to play a false role and don’t imprison yourself behind a suffocating illusion.
Don’t wait for a mysterious moment to put you back in charge of your life. Seize the moment, seize the day and reclaim the life that is truly and uniquely yours to live, perfect or not.
Through pain and imperfections, vibrant beauty grows. Own your struggles, embrace your pain and accept this life as your very own. It is your path and it is like no other.
There are no victims here, only survivors.
The Past is Gone:
Remember the past as the tide that brought you to this new life.
You no longer rely on your past to identify you. You no longer live there and you never have to relive it. It is something you never have to go back to.
Although the past is gone, your experiences and trials brought you to this place. Examine your past with a new set of eyes and a fresh perspective. Tell your unique story from a place where the pain no longer dominates or speaks for you.
See the past for what it is: the ticket to your present freedom and the gateway to your positive legacy. Don’t reject or hide from it. Embrace who you are -every part of who you are- and move forward.
Just as the deepest currents in the middle of the ocean have no visible influence on the appearance of the water at the surface, the pain of your past doesn’t control or define you. It contributes to your landscape, yes, but it isn’t who you are.
You were innocent before you started feeling guilty. Reclaim that childlike innocence and have faith in a better tomorrow.
No Single Event is the Whole Story:
To make progress in life, you don’t have to be perfect, you simply must make the conscious choice to be perfectly capable of improving.
No one event is ever the full story. Life’s richness lies in its series of small journeys and lessons learned. Embrace the teachable moments and count your blessings as others are keeping score of their struggles.
Don’t confuse your pain with your destination. The road you walk, albeit difficult at times, is filled with abundant beauty that is truly, uniquely yours. It is your powerful, inspiring story.
Allow your mistakes and missteps to strengthen you. Every obstacle serves a purpose; every challenge builds your resolve, and perseverance will continue to be your guide as long as you continue to invite it in.
The events of your life serve a purpose but they don’t define you. Because of the road you’ve walked, you’re strong beyond measure. Beginning today, choose to learn from the past and be powerfully present for the opportunities that are right here and now.
